Hassenfeld Child Health Innovation Institute

Alexa Montepeque was born and raised in Rhode Island. She is a junior at Classical High School, the president and founder of the History Writer’s Club, a youth advocate, and a Board Member of Young Voices. As someone passionate about youth voice, Alexa has spent many hours at the State House, testifying against in-school suspensions, and ensuring that every youth has the opportunity for a brighter future. She now researches the impact of Social Media on herself and her peers' lives, so that others can be more informed in their decisions.
