Emilie Martin

Parent Voice, National Parents Union

Biography

Emilie Martin is a fierce and vocal advocate for equality and social justice who never hesitates to use words to make an impact. She brings that spirit to her work as a member of the National Parents Union’s Parent Voice team, where she endeavors to amplify the voices and stories of parents and caregivers. Emilie is a firm believer that parents know their children best and, with the rest of the NPU team, she fights to make sure they have a seat at tables where decisions are made.

Originally from Massachusetts, Emilie currently lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, four dogs and two cats, where she spends her free time reading, writing, and watching whichever New England sports team happens to be playing at the moment.

Emilie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from UMass Amherst, and a Masters in Sport Management from Neumann University.
